Dunlop 21 v 35 Spartans

Spartans started the brighter with some wide attacking play which saw Matthieu Gassy cross the line in the corner. Further scores from Mike Bennett and Alex Garbett put the away side in a strong position. Dunlop were not to be outdone and scored a well worked try of their own, shortly followed by an easy three points.

The second half saw the home side up the gears and the black defence were made to work hard for a large period of time before eventually conceding a try. Spartans bounced back with Alex Garbett making a great break before putting Michael Blair in for a score. The contest remained pretty even with both sides adding a further score but fortunately Spartans had done enough in the first half to secure the victory.
