Kidderminster 19, Spartans 32

Spartans knew they had to up their game after their defeat in their previous league fixture and started the game well with an early score from Alex Garbett. In a competitive game upfront, Spartans edged the set piece and scored another try from a well worked line out close to the home 15metre when Mike Foulds slipped the tackle and crossed the line. The first half continued in the same vain with Spartans adding two more scores through James Gibbons and Andy Bushall.

The 2nd half saw the home side take the initiative with Spartans on the back foot for long periods of time, with the black defence being stretched Kidderminster managed to add a couple of scores of their own making a tense last 15. Spartans then regained some composure and kept hold of the ball in the home half, Tom Hardy then added a penalty in the dying minutes to extend the lead and put Spartans out of sight.
