This weekend saw our Under 7s travel to Coventry for a triangle game against teams from Barkers Butt and Berkswell & Balsall, in what proved to be a fantastic morning of mini rugby.

Represented by Hannah, Harry H, Harry P and Imogen, the Spartans U7s played brilliantly in all four of their matches - showing great teamwork and organisation in defence, and good decision making in attack.

Hannah, growing in confidence with every appearance, showed great commitment throughout and made a number of strong runs forwards with the ball - getting the try that her performance deserved.

Harry H worked tirelessly from start to finish, bringing intensity and drive to the defence whilst also continually making good line breaks in attack to keep the team moving forwards.

Harry P made a number of important defensive contributions with some crucial tags, and impressed with some great runs down the touchline to get on the scoresheet.

Imogen looked solid in possession, showed smart footwork and a great awareness of space to keep finding a way past the opposition defence, and was always a willing support runner for her teammates.

Well done to all the players involved and a big thanks to Barkers for being fantastic hosts, as well for everyone that came along to support!
